The revelation in the book, which includes recommendations such as, “have sex often” and “sleep your way to a younger you,” isn’t new.  It regularly appears on lists for men who want to improve their sexual health. The book also contains a section on fitness. Loading down the celery in thick, fat-laden ranch dressing is not recommended.

It’s a recurring, drunken activity that isn’t the proudest moment for student Frannie Boyle. After consuming large quantities of alcohol before a party, her night would sometimes end in making out with a stranger or acquaintance.

Casual hook ups fueled by alcohol may be the norm across college campuses, but Boyle, now a 21-year-old junior at the school, chose to stop. Her reasons to quit hooking up echo the emotional devastation of many college students, particularly girls whose hearts are broken by the hook-up scene.

While sex may not cure chronic illnesses, it does have some health benefits, experts say. But it’s not the same as an intense workout at the gym.

Is “sexercise” a prescription for good health? Brazil’s Minister of Health suggested that his country’s citizens have sex five times a week as a solution to chronic diseases there like diabetes and hypertension (nearly one quarter of Brazilians have high blood pressure, according to The Associated Press).

Sex is a strong constituent of overall satisfaction in life, a new poll suggests.

The Pfizer Asia-Pacific Sexual Health and Overall Wellness survey quizzed more than 3,000 sexually active men and women in Asia-Pacific countries.

Most people insisted sex was very important for a happy marriage.

However, it was also learnt that 57 per cent of men and 64 per cent of women polled were not satisfied with sex.

Had sex. Those two little words can sure elicit a reaction depending on when and where they’re uttered. But what does “had sex” mean, anyway?

It seems that no one knows. In a new study from the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University, researchers found no consensus on what “had sex” means. They conducted a random, telephone survey of 204 men and 282 women living in Indiana. The respondents ranged in age from 18 to 96. Most were heterosexual.
